We are seeking an experienced sales\u00a0professional to expand our business through new clients and the growth of existing relationships and allow us to continue to provide the exceptional service our customers have become accustomed to. Management of accounts in the Industrial and Utility market in the Western Louisiana Region. An ideal candidate would be self motivated, knowledgeable of electrical power distribution and transmission equipment, and with existing relationships in the Lake Charles and Western Louisiana Region.<\/address>\n

Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong>\u00b7 Build relationships with prospects and current clients, focusing on relationship selling
\n\u00b7 Call-on prospective customers to explain benefits, and value of products and services
\n\u00b7 Promote all products in sales offering
\n\u00b7 Follow-up on sales leads generated from a variety of sources
\n\u00b7 Develop a prospective customer list generated by various methods
\n\u00b7 Complete bid paperwork in a timely manner and finalize new client contracts
\n\u00b7 Accomplish sales goals determined through consultation with management; meet minimum acceptable sales and activity levels
\n\u00b7 Complete activity and pipeline reports and submit to management at the required time
\n\u00b7 Confer with Service team to resolve client issues
\n\u00b7 Travel throughout the market area and spend a majority of time outside of the office, meeting with prospects and clients for the purpose of selling product and services offered
\n\u00b7 Maintain flexibility in schedule to accommodate changes in prospect\u2019s or client\u2019s needs<\/p>\n

Requirements:
\n<\/strong>\u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent required; Electrical Engineering degree an advantage, however not required
\n\u00b7 5+ years of outside sales experience in the electrical field required
\n\u00b7 Principles and practices of general outside sales processes, including assessing buyer styles and sales personalities; ability to interpret, analyze, and apply company policies, objectives, and sales policies; appropriate methods and means of meeting customer needs
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of Electrical Transmission and Distribution equipment used in industrial and utility applications is required
\n\u00b7 Travel in Western Louisiana territory \u2013 up to 80% of the time<\/p>\n
